Why homes in Kent are signing up
The average house now has more connected devices than a small office did ten years ago, and no IT department. When the WiFi drops, the camera goes offline or the TV will not find the soundbar, you end up on hold to a call centre in another country.
- Speak to the person who installed it, or who at least knows what they are looking at
- Most problems fixed remotely inside the first call
- Firmware and security updates handled so cameras and routers stay patched
- Somebody patient for older relatives who just want the telly to work
- Priority when you need a visit, instead of waiting behind new installs
What a care plan actually covers
Anything in the home that connects to a network, a screen or a speaker.
WiFi and broadband
Dropouts, dead spots, new devices that will not join, router replacements, speed problems and dealing with your provider.
CCTV and doorbells
Cameras offline, recordings not saving, app notifications, storage full, lens cleaning and repositioning.
Alarms
Sensor batteries, false alarms, adding users, arming schedules and app access for the family.
TV and audio
TVs, soundbars, Sky and streaming boxes, multi room speakers and the remote that stopped working.
Smart home devices
Lights, plugs, thermostats, blinds and voice assistants, including re pairing after a power cut.
Computers and printers
Laptops, tablets, phones and the printer, kept on the network and kept working.
Set one up for your parents
A large share of care plan customers are sons and daughters who are fed up with being the family IT department. Aaron becomes the number they call instead, and you get a message when it is sorted.

Care plan questions
Is there a contract?
Plans run month to month after an initial three months. Cancel any time after that with 30 days notice. There is no joining fee if you have had an install with us in the last 12 months.
Does the plan cover kit you did not install?
Yes. Support covers the technology in your home whether we installed it or not. If something needs replacing, hardware is charged separately at the plan discount, and Aaron will always tell you the price before ordering anything.
What counts as a visit?
Any time Aaron comes out to the property for something covered by the plan. Essential includes one a year, Home includes two and Home Plus is unlimited for existing equipment. New installations are quoted separately at the plan discount.
Can my parents have a plan and I get the updates?
Yes, this is one of the most common setups. Add a second contact and Aaron will keep you both informed. Plenty of customers set this up for older relatives who want someone patient to call about the telly, the tablet or the WiFi.
How quickly do you respond?
Phone and WhatsApp support is answered during working hours, Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm. Home Plus customers get same day response for outages. Most problems are fixed remotely inside the first call.
What is not covered?
Hardware costs, damage caused by building work or flooding, and third party services like your broadband provider or a streaming subscription. We will still help you deal with them, we just cannot fix their side.
Services covered by every plan
