The same engineer who quotes it, installs it

AC Home Tech grew out of AJC Network & Security, and commercial work is where the qualifications come from. Aaron is a certified network cable installer, Fluke test technician, IPAF trained for working at height and street works qualified. Small and medium sized businesses get a direct line to the person doing the work, not an account manager.

  • Structured Cat6 and Cat6a cabling with patch panels, cabinets and labelled schedules
  • Business WiFi with guest networks, roaming and management
  • 4K CCTV with PTZ tracking, number plate capture and thermal fire detection
  • Access control with fobs, keypads, intercoms and gate automation
  • Fibre optic installation, splicing and testing between buildings and across sites

Commercial services

Delivered for storage yards, roofing contractors, workshops, farms and offices across Kent.

Structured cabling

Cat6 and Cat6a to desks, APs and cameras, with cabinets, switches and a schedule your IT provider will thank you for.

Business WiFi

Ubiquiti and TP Link Omada networks covering offices, warehouses and outdoor areas, with guest access and central management.

Commercial CCTV

PTZ cameras that track movement, number plate recognition on entrances, remote viewing for managers and 30 plus days of storage.

Access control

Fob and keypad entry, intercoms, automatic gates and door controllers with a log of who came in when.

Fibre and connectivity

Fibre between units, 4G and 5G backup so the site stays online if the main line drops, and Starlink for rural premises.

Fire and thermal

Thermal detection cameras that warn before a fire starts. Fitted for a client with high value equipment in a yard.

How a commercial project works

Site survey

Aaron visits the site, looks at the building and the risks, and talks through what you need to protect or connect.

Proposal

A written scope with equipment, positions and a fixed price. Drawings for larger jobs.

Install

Work scheduled around your hours where it matters. Tidy, labelled, tested and documented.

Support

Remote support, maintenance visits and a business care plan if you want a fixed monthly cost.

"Very pleased with the work Aaron did for me at my business lockup."

Colin from Frampton Roofing had a Uniview camera system and a 4G router installed at a yard with no broadband. Full coverage and remote viewing from a site that had nothing before.

Commercial questions

Are you insured and certified for commercial work?

Yes. Public liability insurance, CNCI certification for cabling, Fluke certification for testing, ECS card, IPAF for working at height and DBS checked for working in schools, care settings and homes. Documents available on request for your compliance file.

Can you work out of hours?

Yes. Retail and office jobs are often done evenings or weekends so the business is not disrupted. Just tell us the constraints and we will plan around them.

Do you offer maintenance contracts?

Yes. A business care plan gives you a fixed monthly cost for support, remote diagnostics and scheduled maintenance visits, with priority response. Pricing depends on the size of the system, so ask for a quote.

Do you work with our IT company?

Happily. We handle the physical layer, cabling, WiFi hardware and cameras, and hand over a labelled schedule and test results so your IT provider can manage the rest. Plenty of jobs come to us from IT companies that do not do cabling.

How far do you travel for commercial work?

All of Kent and into East Sussex. Recent commercial jobs include the Eurotunnel site in Folkestone, yards in Thanet and Medway, and units around Ashford and Maidstone.

One certified installer, one point of contact

Cabling, WiFi, CCTV, access control and fibre from the same engineer, with the paperwork to match.
