Aaron walks the property and identifies the entry points, the rooms that matter and where sensors should sit.
System design
A written plan listing every sensor, siren and keypad, with the price. Usually with you the same day.
Install
Wireless sensors fitted, the hub connected and configured, sirens mounted. Most homes are done in half a day.
Handover
App set up for everyone who needs it, arming schedules configured and a full test with you watching.
Alarm plus cameras is where it gets useful
On its own an alarm tells you something happened. With cameras on the same system you can see what it was, in colour, from your phone, and decide what to do. We install both, and we make them talk to each other.
Alarm systems questions
Is a wireless alarm as good as a wired one?
For modern systems, yes. Ajax is Grade 2 certified, uses encrypted radio with jamming detection and reports over broadband with 4G backup. It is accepted by insurers and avoids the disruption of chasing cables into your walls.
Do you offer monitoring?
Yes. Self monitoring through the app is included, and for homes and businesses that want it we can connect the system to a monitoring centre that will call keyholders or the police. Aaron will explain the options and costs during the survey.
How long do the batteries last?
Ajax sensors run for around five years on their batteries and the app tells you well in advance when one needs changing. On a care plan we replace them as part of your annual check.
Can I have pets in the house with the alarm set?
Yes. Ajax motion sensors have pet immunity for animals up to around 20kg. For larger dogs we position sensors and use door contacts so you can arm the house without false alarms.
What does an alarm cost in Kent?
